Sales Tax
As per Pennsylvania state law, 6% sales tax will be applied at checkout on all purchases and shipping charges being shipped to Pennsylvania residents.
Retail Transactions
Laureli Cottage jewelry is available for sale at several retail shops. All returns and exchanges shall be dealt with directly through the retailer as per their store policies and shall not be transacted in any way by Laureli Cottage or LaureliCottage.com.
Selling Wholesale
Laureli Cottage is pleased to provide wholesale pricing for our leather jewelry to retail stores. Please click here for the Wholesale Application. We will look over the application and get in touch with you within 1-2 weeks.
Bulk Orders
Because we are a small company of hand crafted artisan jewelry, we rarely keep a large inventory of identical items in stock, and we may not have enough of the showcased leather in stock to fulfill a large order. If you would like to order 10 or more sets of an identical piece of leather jewelry, such as for a bridal party, your retail shop, or gifts for your friends, please fill out a custom order form here so we can prepare a bulk shipment for you!
Leather Crafting Workshops
Laurel Vargas not only delights in creating beautiful leather jewelry, but also enjoys teaching others the skill of bringing their creativity to life. To apply for a fun and skill-building 2-hour workshop at your store or private event, click here to place a request, and we will get back to you within 1-2 weeks.
Jewelry Repair
Our leather jewelry is very durable, as genuine leather has been renowned for millennia as one of the most enduring materials. We take great care to use quality materials and strong adhesives, However, in the case that the leather adhesive does not hold up to your level of wear and tear and you wish to continue enjoying your leather jewelry, please email us at laurelicottage@gmail.com and arrange to ship it back for repair. The repair service fee is $10 plus shipping, or we can advise you on how to repair it yourself. Repairs are not available for stained, soiled or water damaged leather.
Ordering replacement or matching jewelry
Because leather is a natural material, thickness, texture and color will vary greatly even on the same hide. Many times, we are not even able to restock certain finishes once a hide is used up. This makes it nearly impossible to match or replace a piece that you already have. If you still want something coordinating, email us at laurelicottage@gmail.com, and we will do our best to find a similar or complimentary shade and texture that suits you!
Sizing
Before ordering bracelets and cuffs, please use a fabric tape measure to measure the circumference of your wrist, and select the appropriate size from our menu. If we don’t have your exact size in stock, you can wear a size bigger, but not smaller.
Leather Care
Take care that your leather does not come into contact with water, perfumes or oils as this will discolor the leather and damage the finish. Soiled leather can be wiped with a soft, damp cloth, or with a leather cleaning solution such as saddle soap. Leather jewelry can be treated with a water resistant finish such as mink oil, or solutions found in shoe stores.
Hardware
The metal findings used for earrings, bracelets and necklaces are nickel free. If you prefer surgical stainless steel, sterling silver, or 14k gold, please fill out the custom order form here and we will quote you the appropriate total cost for upgraded hardware.
Vegan Leather
Vegan Leather is a recently popularized term for faux leather or pleather. While we have great regard for our animal sensitive friends, vegan leather does not supply the durable quality, strength and creative versatility that are the trademarks of Laureli Cottage designs, so at this time we do not work with this material.

Returns and Exchanges
Standard orders may be returned for a full refund minus shipping charges when returned unworn
and undamaged in original condition and packaging within 10 days of delivery. Standard orders may be
returned for an exchange of same product or equal value product when returned within 10 days of delivery.
Items sent as replacement in an exchange may differ slightly from the original in texture and shade. Leather used for jewelry is limited in quantity and often has variations throughout, so we do our best to match color and texture but cannot guarantee that it will be the same! Keep in mind that every piece is handmade and each piece varies slightly from the other.
Custom orders are non-returnable and non-refundable.
Shipping and Handling
Shipping charges are calculated by the weight of the items shipped, starting at $5 per package
U.S. First Class. Orders over $75 ship for free. All jewelry is shipped in a pretty package tied with
string ready to be given as a gift for a loved one or just for you!
We aim to ship all orders for in stock items within 1-3 business days.
Custom orders will be completed and ready to ship in 10-30 days, in keeping with order of production.
Important Leather Care Information:
To maintain your leather jewelry, avoid exposure to moisture or high heat. If this does occur and some drying and cracking appears, simply treat your leather jewelry with a leather conditioner (the kind used for leather upholstery, car seats, or saddles) to restore its luster. If soiled, use saddle soap or another leather cleaner with conditioner to clean your leather jewelry.
To preserve the quality of your leather jewelry, keep away from water.
